I don't play a Burns Marquee, but I do play a Burns Double Six string, a late s re-issue of the s classic that was made in China and assembled in the UK. I bought it new a few years ago, and I have to say that the build and finish quality are superb, playability excellent, and the pick-ups wonderfully powerful and responsive. One great and very cool alternative to a strat, the Burns Marquee Special reissue from the 90's which features the bound body and pull push pot for series / Parallel.
